Wszystkie zdjęcia zostały wykonane między październikiem 2020 a styczniem 2022 w czasie trwania pandemii Covid-19, w stu różnych miejscowościach w Polsce. Fotografie skupiają się przede wszystkim na polskiej prowincji. Koncentrując się na mniejszych miejscowościach, między którymi podróżowałem wyłącznie środkami transportu publicznego, chciałem pokazać, jak trudne jest codzienne przemieszczanie się dla ludzi nieposiadających samochodu i jak restrykcje związane z pandemią zwiększyły te trudności. Przestrzeń, która pojawia się na fotografiach to dworce, wiaty, przystanki autobusowe, oraz niepozorne, czasem niezauważane w tkance miejsca, punkty odjazdu busów. Czas pandemii dodatkowo je zmienił. Część z nich została wyłączona z użytku publicznego, zapomniana w związku ze znacznym zmniejszeniem liczby kursów, lub zmieniony został ich status. Pozamykane na głucho, na chwilę, na kilka miesięcy, na rok, nie wróciły już do swojej pierwotnej użyteczności. Niektóre nowe lub odnowione stały się jedynie wydmuszkami przypisywanej im pierwotnej funkcji.
All the photos were taken between October 2020 and January 2022, during the Covid-19 pandemic, in a hundred different locations in Poland's provinces. The photographs primarily focus on small towns. By emphasizing these smaller communities, where I exclusively relied on public transportation, I aimed to portray the daily challenges of mobility for individuals without cars and how the pandemic-related restrictions exacerbated these difficulties. The captured images showcase spaces such as train stations, shelters, bus stops, and often unnoticed points of departure for buses that are integral parts of these provincial areas. The pandemic has further influenced these locations. Some have been temporarily closed off from public use, forgotten due to significant reductions in service frequency, or their status has been altered. Temporarily shut down for a few months or even a year, they never returned to their original functionality. Some newly constructed or renovated spaces have become mere remnants of their initial purpose.
